The Unión de Cooperativas del Campo de la Provincia de Tarragona is constituted in a grand event held at the emblematic Art Noveau theater Fortuny in Reus (Catalonia – Spain). The Union joined all the region’s farmers.

1963
The management of Unión de Cooperativas del Campo de la Provincia de Tarragona dissociated from the public sector, establishing itself as a second grade cooperative with the aim of supporting the farmers and modernizing their activity. The Union is called Unió Agrària Cooperativa and later on, Unió Corporació Alimentària.

1964
First olive oil exportation.

1993
Unió Agrària Cooperativa decides to expand its social basis and creates Olis de Catalunya, which allows the access of cooperatives from other regions in Catalonia.

1997
Inauguration of the current Olis de Catalunya facilities in the town of Vilallonga del Camp.

2004
First tv advertising campaign from Olis de Catalunya.

2009
Opening of the commercial office in Shanghai.

Today
Olis de Catalunya is a leading company in its country, Spain, admired for the quality of its olive oils and with presence in more than 30 countries from 4 continents.
